This organization operates seven hotel brands who are working every day to achieve a sustainable tourism in time (InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites).
The InterContinental hotels and resorts around the world are doing to sustain and enhance their local destination. As part of that global initiative, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa today celebrates Responsible Business Day, which highlights the work that InterContinental hotels and resorts around the world are doing to sustain and enhance their local destination. In partnership with National Geographic's Center for Sustainable Destinations, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts properties regularly take part in activities that ensure their location remains an appealing place to visit for future generations. Today, Responsible Business Day will see hotels from around the world take part in such an activity.
At Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa, our activities were visit to orphanage “Ciudad de Angeles” to deliver linen, donate school back packs for 32 kids and install basket ball court frames as well as irrigation system for their garden, cleaning the marina with the staff and the International Cleanup day in conjunction with clients and Scuba Du (our onsite Dive Shop) Cleaning the reefs.These activities help to change the way the community think. Therefore we not only help of taking care of the environment, but will also work to get a new culture in Cozumel toward to the sustainability.
All human beings must contribute daily for taking care about the environment, so that the future generations can enjoy the biodiversity of our world.
Thanks to these activities we have an organizational culture that is always looking the way of provide the best service without the generation of negative impacts on the environment.
