On September 15 to 19, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel hosted the first photographer encounter, where amateurs and professional photographers had the opportunity to explore Cozumel Island and reflect the best images of it.
The island is covered by lush jungle vegetation and is surrounded by rocky coastlines, white sand beaches, lagoons and mangroves. The waters encircling the island have an impressive group of coral reefs that are part of the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest reef system in the world. Almost the entire island of Cozumel is surrounded by coral reefs, and there are tow marine reserves of great ecological importance, such as Cozumel National Reef Marine Park and Chankanaab Nature Park, were you can see all the diversity of marine life.
